Warranty
Pronto Car Cosmetix provides a 12-month warranty on visible defects arising directly from workmanship or materials used during the repair process.
This warranty applies to repairs carried out by Pronto Car Cosmetix and covers visible defects including:
• Peeling or loss of adhesion of paint or lacquer
• Excessive loss of gloss or lacquer dieback
• Defective finish caused by workmanship to the repaired area:
• Cracking, blistering or flaking directly related to the repair i.e. coming from underneath
• Significant colour loss attributable to the repair process
• Defects in the repaired area resulting from materials or application failure i.e. fillers, primers, basecoats or clearcoats
Should a valid defect occur within 12 months of the repair date, Pronto Car Cosmetix will inspect the vehicle and, where deemed appropriate, rectify the affected repair area at no additional labour cost to the customer.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
• Stone chips, scratches, scuffs or impact damage after collection.
•Corrosion or rust originating beneath existing paintwork or from untreated/internal corrosion.
•Rust re-occurrence – whilst we will attempt to remove rust and corrosion during the repair process we cannot warranty against its return.
• Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect or third-party repairs.
• General wear and tear, environmental damage or weathering.
•Damage caused by bird droppings, tree sap, chemicals, industrial fallout or improper washing methods listed below.
• Variations in colour perception due to age, fading or previous repairs on adjacent panels.
• Defects caused by manufacturer paint failure or pre-existing substrate (base on which paint was applied i.e. steel, aluminium, plastic, fibre glass) issues.
• Damage resulting from pressure washing, abrasive cleaning products or automatic car washes within 30 days of repair.
• Any mechanical and/or electronic issues.
This warranty is limited solely to the repaired area identified on the original invoice and is non-transferable.
Any warranty claim must be reported to Pronto Car Cosmetix as soon as reasonably possible and the vehicle must be made available for inspection before any remedial work is undertaken elsewhere.
