Instructions
Following paint repairs completed by Pronto Car Cosmetix, please avoid washing, polishing, waxing, or pressure washing the repaired area for 7 days while the paint fully cures. Taking care during this period will help maintain the finish and long-term quality of the repair.
• Fresh paint requires time to fully cure and harden.
• The curing process can take up to 30 days, depending on environmental conditions.
• During this period, the paint remains more sensitive than factory finishes.
Paint Curing Period
• Do not polish, wax, or apply sealants to repaired areas for at least 4 weeks.
• Early polishing can damage the paint surface before it has fully cured.
Polishing & Waxing
Do not apply stickers, magnets, or adhesives to repaired panels for at least 30 days.
Adhesives & Attachments
Failure to follow the above care instructions may affect the final appearance of the repair and may limit any applicable warranty.
Warranty Considerations
• Do not wash the vehicle for at least 5–7 days
after collection.
• Avoid automated car washes for
a minimum of 4 weeks.
When washing:
• Use only mild automotive shampoo
• Wash gently by hand using a soft cloth or sponge
• Avoid high-pressure washing directly on
repaired areas
Washing & Cleaning
Avoid prolonged exposure to:
• Bird droppings
• Tree sap
• Fuel spills
• Industrial fallout
If contamination occurs, clean gently
as soon as possible.
Environmental Exposure
• Slight variations in texture or finish may occur initially and will settle over time.
• Colour matching has been completed to a professional standard; slight variations may be visible depending on lighting.
Minor Imperfections
